Weekly Reflection – Dream Big Dreams
This week’s study on “Dream Big Dreams” really encouraged me to reflect on the importance of vision, faith, and perseverance in reaching both personal and professional aspirations. The readings and videos reminded me that dreaming big isn’t about chasing unrealistic fantasies but about recognizing the divine potential within each of us. It’s about trusting that when our goals align with God’s will, He can multiply our efforts beyond what we could accomplish alone. One message that stood out to me was that big dreams always demand courage—the courage to take risks, face uncertainty, and step outside of what feels comfortable or familiar.
I was particularly moved by the stories of individuals who dared to see possibilities beyond their immediate situations. Their examples showed that lasting success rarely happens overnight; it grows from persistence, faith, and consistent effort. The videos also emphasized that true success isn’t defined by material gain or public recognition, but by the difference we make in the lives of others. This idea encouraged me to rethink what success truly means to me and how I measure progress in my own life.
This week’s lesson also made me examine the balance between setting ambitious goals and remaining realistic. I noticed that I often hold myself back due to fear of failure or uncertainty about whether my dreams are “too big.” The study materials challenged me to move beyond that hesitation and embrace the idea that growth requires discomfort and faith.
Moving forward, I’m eager to keep learning how to turn my big dreams into practical, faith-driven actions. I want to develop the discipline to plan wisely, the faith to keep going when things are hard, and the humility to let God guide my path. My goal is to adopt a mindset that views challenges not as setbacks but as meaningful steps in fulfilling the purpose He has for me.
